This Annual report discusses the activities that JCMB has initiated that continue to grow! The new initiatives that were introduced last year, such as the ‘Celebrating Second Daughter’ package, the ‘Childbirth Classes for Parents-to-be’ and the sponsorship of higher studies for meritorious girl students under the ‘Ram Pyari Gupta Memorial Scholarship’ programme, due to their popularity and efficacy, have continued and grown this year. The expansion and strengthening of our women’s self-help groups (SHGs) have been undertaken as a strategy to empower rural women.
