Did you know that 55 million Indians are pushed to poverty due to healthcare expenditure every year? 65% of India’s population is in rural areas. But do we have enough medical practitioners to support healthcare in rural spaces? Merely 34% of doctors work for rural healthcare. This panel discussion aims to highlight this issue along with elaborating the solution – more doctors exploring work opportunities in rural India.
