Trust for Reaching the Unreached (TRU)

To reach out to unreached population with our expertise in matters of health and education

(Functioning Since 1988)

Since 1988, the Trust for Reaching the Unreached has strived to improve the health of communities in rural Gujarat through community based interventions such as, community based general and mental health programs, holistic education for girl children and relief and rehabilitation for natural and human made disasters.

So far we have always been a community health project as we believe that real work is in the community and not in hospitals. We have active OPDs in forest areas – general OPDs, Psychiatric OPDs, Dental OPD, Physiotherapy OPD, etc.

We spend a good amount of resources and time for educating and empowering the people in matters of health and basic care.  We have built secondary and tertiary referral links for sending our patients requiring further care.

We are open to having a small hospital if we have doctors interested in running it with commitment and care.  Willingness to live in rural area will be much appreciated.
