Sangwari Community Clinic

Sangwari  literally means a colleague or friend. At present there are 2 Sangwari community clinics, these are once a week clinics in the tribal rural area of Surguja district in the northen region of Chhattisgarh. These clinics are part of a larger community health program and provide an important support structure to the community program. These 2 clinics along with 3 more out reach clinics in the farther difficult to reach areas provide comprehensive primary plus health care services. These clinics are ran by postgraduate doctors along with the team and provide a range of health care services like pediatrics, women health, general medicine, NCD care along with the Pain and palliation services to the grass root level.Reaching the unreached and address the issue of inequity in health is the larger goals of these clinics.
