Dr. Kiran C. Patel Multispecialty Hospital (Vanbandhu Arogya Dham)

Kantilal J. Patel Charitable Trust has planned major interventions in the district to improve the health and welfare of the tribal population of Dang. Several areas of health need to be addressed, starting with general medicine, dental treatments, and eye care, which can significantly impact the life of the local population. The Trust has planned a multi-specialty hospital called Vanbandhu Arogya Dham in Ahwa, where the central bus station of the district lies. All major commercial and cultural activities of the Dangi people are centered around Ahwa, which is also en-route to Saputara, a major holiday attraction in the district. Reaching remote areas with modern medical treatments is the ultimate goal of the Trust but as a start, we are operating a clinic in this easy-to-reach location. The plan for the multi-specialty hospital is in the works and the hospital building is ready to be outfitted. The facility is currently functioning as a general medical clinic using the funds and equipment already provided by our generous donors. I, Dr. Nirali Patel, am handling the functioning of the clinic. But this is but a drop in the ocean of interventions needed in the district to achieve a reasonable level of health and welfare. That is why we are seeking help from you to continue and expand the services that we can offer to the tribal Dangi people in dire need of our help.
