Anjali Hospital
Promotion of health & all round development of rural population without any distinction of caste, colour or creedAnjali came in existence in 1988 out of intense desire of founders to utilize their skills, capabilities and education background for the underprivileged and needy communities of the area around Ranasan spread over parts of Talod, Dhansura, Modasa, Himtnagar & Prantij talukas of Sabarkantha & Aravalli districts.
The area is underdeveloped. The needy and underprivileged population belongs to Thakore, Harijan,Bhangi, Ravad,Vaghari, Vanzara communities along with migrant tribal labourers who are in large numbers and other economically needy people are beneficiaries of the activities of Anjali.
Majority of these people are marginal farmers, farm labourers or daily wagers.
Anjali started its activities in 1988 with a small health center, which is now a 75 bed Anjali Hospital ( only facility for emergency care, child birth, admission and 24 hour availability of MBBS doctors in surrounding 25 kms). At present underprivileged and economically needy people of around 100 -150 villages are beneficiaries of Anjali Hospital, managed by ANJALI.
Since last 15 years Anjali has initiated outreach program for prevention of blindness and general surgical operation program to prevent high expenditure and complications due to general surgical conditions for which elective non complicated surgeries can be performed in the same way as eye surgery is performed for cataract operation by bringing patient to hospital after the diagnosis at field level.
