Amrit Clinics (Basic Healthcare Services)

To provide high quality and responsive primary healthcare for the last family in the communities BHS serves.

Basic Health Services (BHS) is a not-for-profit organisation which provides a responsive, empathetic primary health ‘circle of care’, that is rooted in the community. BHS reaches the most vulnerable communities through a network of responsive primary healthcare and nutrition services. BHS offers a continuum of preventive, promotive, and curative care while using a combination of innovations in human resources and technology.

A network of  six affordable and decentralised primary healthcare clinics that ride on the capable shoulders of professional nurses. The nurse-led clinics drill deep into remote and inaccessible communities to improve their health-seeking behaviours. They also galvanise once- voiceless communities to own, lead and have a stake in their own well-being and improved health outcomes.
