It reminded me that medicine is not only about treating the disease, but about bringing care, respect, and possibility to communities that have long been distant from it.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you read these words, I am sure you picture the writer as a grey haired semi retired doctor.<br>But these are the words of a final year medical student in India. The question frequently asked by young doctors is about which specialty to take so that one can work less and earn more quickly.
